Fuck yes nonnie. Back when everyone said it couldn't be done, I was actually eager for it, because I felt like the movieverse had developed in such a way that a lot of the conflict* makes more sense. Tony in a very real way kicked off this era of heroes--sure, he was by no means the first (gosh I love that aspect of Ant-Man), but he was the one who stepped out into the public and said fuck yeah, I'm a superhero, that's a thing, if you don't like it, bite me. So it makes sense that he would feel responsible for the consequences of that--and then AoU doubles-down on that responsibility.

* Assuming you are not a fucking idiot and assuming the SHRA will be imported wholesale.

Yes! For me it makes a lot of sense in MCU that shit hits the fan because superheroes make too much mess fighting around the world. MCU is a more down to earth canon, and it's not a stretch to imagine the rest of the world turning against them sooner rather than later because of all the destruction, or demand accountability.

Now in the wrong hands sure, it could be as boring as the whole senate thing in the Star Wars prequels but Marvel has made it clear that when it comes to making movies not boring, they're pretty damn dedicated. It's actually one of the more interesting new routes for a Marvel!verse and IA, this is not even the beginning, it's been long time in making.

I think I'll love parts and sigh over others, per usual, then fic the mess out of it.

I need a trailer, but I also need to not be on internet when it hits like a flying Sokovian city.

I think we will be getting a trailer in the next 2 weeks, Age of Ultron which had a similar release date to this had its trailer ~~released~~ leaked by Hydra on 22 October 2014. So hoping it will happen soon.

It's probably going to be just as confusing as the AoU one too.

Having had some time to adjust to not getting the CA3 movie that I wanted, I'm starting to look forward to this a lot. It's going to be kind of ridiculously overstuffed, but I think it will be fun and full of feels, and I want to see it.

It seems like a huge story, and there's no way they'll be able to fit a whole lot of detail onscreen, so it seems in a way tailor-made for fanfic.

I didn't really have an expectation, maybe a hope they wouldn't split up strike team delta, but I'm looking forward to it too. I do hope they treat Wanda well in the narrative.

Based on a CW merch T-shirt it could be scale mail. If true it means he reinforces his getup in CW, which is full of speculation potential imo.
